Golfers enjoyed playing a 'scramble' format which is where each golfer hits their own shot and then they choose, as a team, which ball to play. It makes for a fun and low-pressure afternoon of golf and of course the scores look much better. This year there were 10 teams all competing for several contests including longest drive, closest to the pin and a few other creative contests. There was a Longest Putt contest on the 18th green, a surprise Shortest Drive on 15 and even a hole-in-one contest with a chance at $10,000, (although that prize remains safe again this year). Two teams tied for 1st place this year with scores of 64 and the other winners are listed below, along with the Sponsors that made this event possible. MPM Products and MetLChek Penetrants sponsored the BBQ after the tournament and the door prizes and contest awards were handed out along with several announcements made by the PNW ASNT Section Chairman Bill Wahmuth. It was a fun afternoon of golf and socializing, everyone is looking forward to next year.
